Who ever would have thought that I would stop blogging? Yeah, everyone that's ever seen me start anything. They were all right.
I think I'm going to turn this into a more all-around thing than just Elle. If I start writing daily, she'll no doubt be one of the main topics, but...I need something more to talk about.
So what's going on? Well, I'm done with school. I'm hoping that I didn't fail Orgo because if I did, my scholarship will most likely be thrown in the garbage, and what fun is that? It's my own fault, but I guess I can't do anything but wait and see.
We ended up getting about a foot of snow (maybe a little less) but then we were doused with freezing rain. My driveway is completely covered in slick ice right now. Poor Matt fell this morning and he's feeling it. =( He's so cute when he gets hurt, though, so it's hard not to smile in spite of his pain, haha.
I finally found the girth I want!! It has all of the features that I want:
it's a brand that I know, so I don't think it'll fall apart (Toulouse)
double elastic, in dark green - the elastic, not the girth - instead of that ugly cream color
shaped
a center D ring (and some extra D's)
and affordable.
It's not the PERFECT color, but that's ok.
So, the list of stuff I want is down to:
FITS breeches (they just seem cool)
Mattes pad (I think I'm getting one for Christmas)
Mattes girth cover (the one that velcro's over the girth in different places to leave the D's accessible)
leathers
seat saver
breastplate (that I really don't need until we start higher level eventing, say, 10 years from now haha)
the reins I want (that I don't need, as I have {{counting}} 8 sets, 5 of which still have tags on, but want)
new helmet (but I haven't decided which one yet)
Now that my wish list is out there, I'm off to do some laundry and eat lunch. I don't think Matt is coming home for lunch today, but if he is he's going to kill me if I haven't started laundry yet!
